I am different for many reasons. Not only do I have both my Bachelors and Master's in Psychology with a focus in both child development and family systems, I have 17 years experience working directly with children ages 0-2 on a daily basis. I also have completed training as a NCS, a newborn care specialist, and am considered an advanced newborn care specialist. I have also taken two separate sleep courses to better understand the science of infant sleep. Because of my experience and educational background, I've come to learn that when it comes to little ones, its not always about the behavior, but the why's of behavior, the developmental aspect. Many parents focus on the "bad" behavior and want to fix it without realizing the developmental part of the behavior. By better understanding the root cause of the behavior, we can work together to come up with a plan that works for your child and your family.
Every baby is different as is every family. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all program and I work with parents to come up with a plan that works for everyone, especially your baby. I believe sleep matters and I believe all babies can sleep. So many other factors need to be taken into account when it comes to sleeping at night and I help parents understand these factors as we work together to help your little one sleep through the night.
Le'ts chat. I'm happy to make myself available for a free 15 minute phone consultation and let's figure out what would work best for your family.
